Having over thirty years experience, I offer compassionate, professional therapy. The first step in looking for a therapist, is to check out credentials and experience. Even more important is fit and a feeling of being understood. At the front end of things, what I can say is that I am committed to working with you based on current best practices. I offer help with a wide range of counselling issues including trauma, attachment related concerns with children and adults, grief and loss, addictions, childhood issues, family concerns, and communication difficulties for couples, to name but a few.

My job will be partly complete when I have helped you move beyond the concerns that brought you to make your first call. Even better, we can together to enhance your capacity to experience more calm, meaning and joy.
Sometimes talk therapy isn't enough. Using somatic based
therapies including EMDR and Self Regulation Therapy, I will
help you integrate healing at a deeper and lasting level.

Other specialty areas are addictions, depression, anxiety, anger concerns, accidents, violence, illness, work place and relational trauma. I have experience with adults and their families affected by residential school trauma. I offer employee-assistance
